I work with foreigners every week and the small wins are my favorite to hear about. What's yours from this week?
I'll start, from the other direction: I finally watched a full episode of Ted Lasso without subtitles. Took me three years.

I successfully complained to my building's portero about the water being off. Felt unreasonably proud.
Ordered coffee without pointing. Tiny milestone, huge feeling.
Understood my Uber driver's joke. I think it was a joke. He laughed at his own thing and I laughed too and now we're friends.
I'm always delighted when one of my clients goes to the Notaría for the first time and comes out happy after a whole morning of succesful paperwork done, all in spanish!

Usually my favorite win is either being able to use a word I just learned or respond to the word appropriately. It’s nice.
